Volunteer Opportunities
Serve on the front lines by building meaningful relationships with our program participants. Impact Team members play a vital role in fostering growth, encouragement, and transformation through direct engagement.
Facilitators
Lead and guide program classes by sharing your knowledge and creating a space for growth and learning. Facilitators help equip participants with the tools they need to succeed.
Mentors
Walk alongside participants throughout their journey, offering encouragement, guidance, and support. Rooted in our core value of Grace Filled Accountability, mentors also serve as accountability partners, helping participants stay committed to their goals.
Help us maintain a welcoming and well-kept environment for everyone who visits our campus. The Campus Care Team plays an important role in creating a space that reflects dignity, excellence, and care for our community.
Volunteers support both our indoor and outdoor spaces through activities such as cleaning and organizing common areas, planting flowers, pulling weeds, picking up trash, spreading mulch, and assisting with basic pest management, along with other seasonal projects as needed.

Create meaningful moments of connection and support for our families as they attend classes and work toward self-sufficiency. The Meal Support Team serves by hosting a meal on campus or preparing and dropping off meals for participants.
Whether you cook, cater, or coordinate a meal, your generosity provides nourishment, encouragement, and support during an important time in their journey.
This is a great opportunity for individuals, families, churches, or groups to make a tangible impact through hospitality and care.
Use your creativity and organizational skills to help bring impactful events to life. The Special Events Team supports the planning and execution of campus events, community outreach initiatives, and fundraising efforts.
Volunteers in this role may assist with event coordination, logistics, and overall event management, helping ensure each experience is engaging and well-executed.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy planning and can primarily serve remotely while contributing to meaningful moments that support our mission.
Help promote The Harvest Center of Charlotte’s mission by sharing impactful stories and engaging content. The Social Media & Marketing Team supports outreach efforts through writing, creating, and editing content across multiple platforms.
Volunteers may assist with social media content, press releases, newsletters, website content, promotional materials, and event marketing initiatives. This role is ideal for individuals with a passion for storytelling, digital marketing, or communications who want to make a meaningful impact.
This is a hybrid opportunity, with the ability to work remotely on occasion. Creative, detail-oriented individuals who can work independently will thrive in this role.
Support the day-to-day work of The Harvest Center by serving alongside our staff behind the scenes. The Staff Support Team plays a vital role in helping our programs run smoothly and efficiently.
Volunteers may assist with tasks such as organizing materials, preparing program resources, data entry, and other administrative or operational needs as they arise.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are organized, dependable, and enjoy supporting a team in meaningful ways. Your service helps strengthen our staff so they can better serve our community.
