Deandrea is a loving, supportive mother of two daughters, Damaria and Damiyah. After 12 years of living in an apartment that was unfit for living, she made a courageous decision to provide a better life for her daughters by working towards homeownership. That was her main goal when she walked through the doors of The Harvest Center of Charlotte. The first step towards that goal was financial freedom. During her time in the CLT Passport Program, Deandrea paid off $3,400 in debt, maintained full-time employment at CPCC as an Academic Advisor, and has recently fulfilled her dream of becoming a homeowner.
